TERMS & CONDITIONS OF SALE


General Guidelines:    All prices, terms, conditions, and policies are subject to change without notice and are at the sole discretion of Marisol Modern.  PLEASE NOTE:  All vessels are handmade; therefore there may be slight variations that should not be considered defects in the product.
 
Payment Terms:   Credit cards (M/C, VISA, DISCOVER) or not currently accepted at this time, sorry for any inconvenience.  PayPal payments only, exceptions are if items need to be returned for an exchange and then personal checks are acceptable made out to Marisol Modern.   Payments include shipping and handling, taxes and must accompany all orders.  No COD orders accepted
Marisol Modern reserves the right to change the terms or conditions of any sale without notice. 

Delivery: Product will be shipped as determined by Marisol Modern unless otherwise specified.  Normal shipping is via UPS, FEDEX or USPS from Atlanta, Georgia.

*Standard Shipping and Handling
Most orders ship within 5-7 business days from receipt of order, this excludes weekends. Please note, orders placed during heavily promoted and/or holiday periods might require additional processing time.
Please allow 7-10 business days for shipments within the continental U.S. to arrive. Shipments to Alaska, Hawaii and APO and FPO order can take up to 4 weeks to arrive.
You can ship an order to a different address than your billing address. 
Physical street addresses are required; no PO boxes can be processed.
Shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, APO and FPO addresses are Priority Parcel Post delivery only. An additional fee does apply.
Currently international shipping is not available. 
Please note that 'HOT ZONE' shipping is implemented from Memorial Day through Labor Day in order to avoid melting of waxed vessels.  Orders shipping to the following states will be shipped on Mondays only unless expedited delivery is requested:
Washington, Oregon, California, Nevada, Utah, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, Arizona, New Mexico, South Dakota, North Dakota, Nebraska, Texas, and Florida

*Expedited Delivery
Requires physical street address - PO Boxes are not supported.
Orders must be received by  10:00 a.m. Eastern Standard Time to be processed the same day, Monday through Friday.
Thursday 2 Day orders will arrive Monday.
Friday overnight orders will arrive Monday.
Overnight and Second Day orders placed on Saturday and Sunday will be shipped on the following Monday.
Items must be in-stock, and the shipping address must be within the continental United States.

Easy Return & Exchange Policy:  We take pride in the quality and value of everything we offer. If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase we will assist you with a prompt exchange, refund or credit within 10 BUSINESS DAYS OF PURCHASE. Credits for returns will be refunded in the original form of payment used to place the order. Refunds can take up to 7 - 10 business days, once the credit has been requested. Please note the returned products must be in the original packaging, unused, and in saleable condition. Please return merchandise in the condition that you would expect to receive it. Product must be received in saleable condition as determined by Marisol Modern or the return will not be accepted. Merchandise returned without original packaging will be subject to a 20% restocking fee. The customer is responsible for return shipping and handling charges on non-defective merchandise.  No Return Authorization number is necessary. Simply use and follow the instructions on the hassle free return/exchange form included with your merchandise within 10 business days of purchase. Ship the parcel prepaid to: Marisol Modern, 268 Pine St NW Atlanta GA 30313.  If you require an immediate replacement, please place a new order online. You may return the original item (s) at your convenience.

Marisol Modern recommends adding delivery confirmation and insurance when returning merchandise via the U.S. Postal Service. Tracking and insurance for packages up to $100 is standard for UPS and FedEx.

Back Orders: All back orders may take up to 7-14 days to process.

Damaged Product:  Claims for damages items must be made within 10 business days of receipt of goods. For product that has arrived damaged, it is not necessary to return the product. Please email a photo of the damaged product to [email protected] along with your name and order number, and we will be happy to assist you with a replacement order.

NOTE: Variations in color, material placement and fragrance strength are not considered defects and as such are not returnable.
